Who we are
One Sitting Studio ("we", "us") is a small independent game studio. We are the data controller for the site and the games. You can reach us at hello@onesitting.studio.
What we do not collect
There are no accounts, no sign ups, no newsletters and no forms on this site. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal information to play. Game progress, settings, keybinds and leaderboard times are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never uploaded to us, and clearing your browser's site data erases them.
What is collected automatically
Server logs
The site and the games are served by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the content and protect the service from abuse. We see aggregated traffic counts, not individual visitors. Cloudflare's own handling of this data is described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Visitor counts (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
To know whether anyone reads these pages, the site may load a small script from Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and referrers in aggregate. It sets no cookie, uses no local storage, does not fingerprint your browser and does not follow you across sites or across visits. Cloudflare describes it in its documentation. The games themselves do not load it.

Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
Some pages, and the main menu and pause screen of our games, may show advertising served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info.
- How Google uses information from sites that use its services is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Ad requests are only made from the pages and screens that carry an ad slot. Gameplay itself never loads advertising scripts.
Consent
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will see a consent message before any personalised advertising is loaded, provided through Google's certified consent management platform. You can decline, accept, or manage vendor choices there, and change your mind later from the same message. Visitors from certain US states are shown a comparable notice where the law requires it. Declining consent does not affect your ability to play.

We do not use social media pixels, fingerprinting, or any analytics that identifies individual visitors.
Third party links
Support payments go through Ko-fi, a separate service with its own privacy policy. Any information you give Ko-fi is handled by Ko-fi, not by us; we only see what Ko-fi shows to creators, typically a display name and a message if you leave one.
Children
Our games are made for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we collect no personal information directly, there is nothing for a child to provide. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (the EU and EEA under the GDPR, the UK, Canada under PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, California under the CCPA, and others), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal information about you, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no personal data about players beyond what is in a support email you chose to send, most requests are satisfied by deleting that correspondence, which we will do on request. For advertising data, the controls above act directly on Google's systems. Write to hello@onesitting.studio for any request and we will answer within thirty days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Data transfers and retention
Cloudflare and Google operate globally, so the technical data described above may be processed outside your country under those companies' standard safeguards. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to answer them and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, the effective date at the top changes and the change is noted on the devlog if it is material. 4 October 2026: added the visitor counts section and the note for Quebec visitors.
